I haven’t had Kobushi’s thick tsukemen in a month, but has the taste changed? It seemed a little sweeter and much tastier than before.
At 11:30 on a weekday, I went to Kobushi Tsukemen for the first time in a while. The appearance of the restaurant seemed to have changed a little. I wonder if the curtain was still there. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with a “Welcome! I was glad that he noticed me today.

As it was before noon, there was only one customer. I ordered a bowl of hot tsukemen (thick tsukemen noodles with seasoned eggs) for 1,000 yen. The stout old man in the hall was very friendly and reassuring.
Seven minutes and 41 seconds after ordering, the thick tsukemen arrived. It came a little early. Maybe it’s because there are fewer customers. Still, it seems to be faster than before.

First, I tried just the noodles. The noodles are very thick and chewy, so they are delicious on their own. I take a sip of the soup. It tastes better than before.
I dip the noodles in it and try it. It’s kind of sweeter and milder than before. It was saltier before. Maybe they didn’t change the taste and it’s just my imagination, but I like this taste better.
The flavor is not too strong, and the noodles go on and on. I was able to finish the dish while savoring it slowly. The broth is also very smooth, so I was able to drink it quickly and easily.
Is it my imagination that the taste has changed? The soup, which was already delicious, has become even better. I used to think it was a little difficult for women to eat, but this should make it easier for them.
I have yet to find a ramen that surpasses Kobushi in this neighborhood. Kobushi is the best. I think I’m going to fall in love with the Kobushi pattern again.
