The restaurant opens for lunch at the same time, so there are no customers. A man who seems to be the owner of the restaurant inside the counter in the back of the restaurant. A lady at the hall. A couple, perhaps.
While writing this article, I looked up the name of the restaurant on the Internet and found that it seems to be a little well-known because a celebrity worked there.
I sit behind the counter and order a giri for lunch. Since the restaurant has just opened, the lady brings a plate of soy sauce and tea. It seems she had been washing dishes and brought the plates and chopsticks without wiping her hands, so everything was smeared. Are you okay, a sushi restaurant that doesn’t care.
Lunch nigiri was ready in 1 minute and 49 seconds after ordering. The 11 pieces of sushi were as follows.
Red tuna
Squid
Scallops
Scallop
Egg
Mushrooms
Tekkamaki
I tried it first. Ummm…it’s dry. It’s not like this. The egg is more than normal.
Squid, I don’t think this one goes well with it. In addition to the sliminess characteristic of squid that is not fresh, it is hard to chew through like rubber.
Red tuna, not so good. Tuna has no distinctive taste, or is it a problem of freshness? The same goes for scallops and shiny fish. Miso soup is delicious, with crab broth.
The sushi restaurant seems to have been in business for more than 50 years, but is it really good? To tell the truth, it’s not very good. Maybe they serve leftovers from yesterday’s lunch? I don’t know how sushi restaurants work.
Maybe it just happened to be fresh, so I’ll go back one more time in a while and try the sashimi set meal. At this point, it’s not a sushi restaurant I would go back to.
