It’s 11:30 on a weekday after a three-day weekend, and I go to Zhuang Yuan for Taiwanese cuisine for the first time in a while. When I had been there before, I felt bad because of the slovenly attitude of the old man in the hall. However, the food was reasonably good, so I wanted to try something else.

At 11:30 a.m., there were only a few customers, and only one couple was in the restaurant. I decided to try the 900 yen Sour Tang Men today. This restaurant does not bring water. You have to go to the drink bar by yourself. I learned from the last time I went here.
Water, iced coffee, tea, oolong tea, etc. are available.
Four minutes and eight seconds after ordering, the Sula Tang Men arrived. A slight spiciness mingled with the smell of vinegar. A small bowl of rice was served with bean sprout cabbage and a molasses dessert.
I take a sip of the Sula Tang Men. It’s hot! It’s so hot. That’s because it is so fucking hot because the heat doesn’t escape due to the thickening of the soup.
The taste is, well, normal. Think of it as a sour version of tantanmen. It lacks a little sourness, so I put a little vinegar on it. The taste was just right, and the heat subsided a little.
It took a while, but I finished the meal. I finished the small bowls of food and left the restaurant. The taste was normal. It tasted good. But it was too hot to eat quickly, so it is not suitable for those who are in a hurry.
Next time, I might try the shark fin ramen for 1,730 yen.
