It’s 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a little chilly in the morning and a little warm in the afternoon, and I’m at Noel, a business hotel in Tokyo, for the first time in three weeks.
A customer was checking the menu in front of the hotel. I check the menu from the side. The menu is full of tempting dishes, but I decide to have pork steak today.

There was only one customer, a take-out couple. I ordered as usual and picked up my salad. The female staff member I asked to cook for me was someone I had never seen before. Hoping that this might allow me to pay without getting a discount.
The salad bar remained the same, so I took it as usual and had more potato salad. It took me a little while to get it. While I was eating, customers started to arrive. As I listened to the orders, the pork steak seemed to be the most popular dish.
I had just finished a plate of salad when the pork steak arrived. Eight minutes and four seconds after I ordered it. On the plate is pasta and broccoli. The steak with grated radish on top is not that big.
Take a bite of the pork steak. It is very tasty and has just the right amount of fat. It may be a little small, but it is enough for this taste.
By the time I finish eating, there are many customers in the restaurant. Finally, it’s time to pay the bill. The person in charge is a woman I had never seen before, who takes care of our order. I thought I could go with the same price as before, but she gave me a firm discount. I wondered if she could tell by my words and actions that I had been here before. It was the first time I was disappointed to get a discount.
The Noel Lunch at the Tokyo Business Hotel is a great place to eat alone, or with a large number of tables, it can be enjoyed by many people. I recommend it.
