As usual, at 11:30 on a weekday, I went to a tonkatsu restaurant that I had been curious about in Tomihisa-machi. The name of the restaurant is “Ippekoppe.
When I passed by the restaurant, I thought the price of 1,200 yen for a loin cutlet curry was expensive, but after trying it, I changed my mind and thought it was worth it.

The restaurant is small and you can tell how crowded it is from the outside. A signboard menu is placed in front of the restaurant, allowing customers to see the menu before entering. To order, buy a meal ticket from the ticket vending machine. It is located to the right as you enter the restaurant, so it is best to have your money ready before entering.
There are two seats at the counter and three tables for four people. I bought a ticket for a 1,200 yen loin cutlet curry and was directed to the counter in the back. 11:30 a.m. and 50% of the customers were already in the restaurant.
No pitcher of water, salt and pickles are available at the table. The water is delicious. Customers come in while waiting for their orders. Some customers seem to be taking out.
The curry arrived 10 minutes and 13 seconds after ordering. It was quite large and hearty. The curry was recognizable at first glance and probably tasty.
You can clearly see that the chicken is melted into a hollowness. I took a bite of the curry. It is still delicious.
The rice has a lot of water in it. How about the pork cutlet? I put some sauce on it and took a bite. It is very tender and has just the right amount of fat. The batter is also crispy.
The cabbage is sliced into very thin strips, as if it had been cut with a slicer. The cabbage is also tasty, perhaps because the water in which it is washed is also delicious.
The pork cutlet is seriously delicious. No wonder it costs 1,200 yen. The cost is just right. For the first time in a long time, I was able to eat lunch while savoring the food.
There was no one waiting outside, but I left the restaurant as soon as I could, as I knew many customers would be arriving after 12:00.
Next time, I would like to try the loin cutlet set meal. I wonder what the top loin cutlet would taste like. It must be super tasty. I want to try both.
