Continuing from yesterday, we went to Noel at the Tokyo Business Hotel. We entered the restaurant at 11:30 on a weekday Tuesday, just as it opened for lunch. After being politely asked if this was my first visit, I took a seat.
I came to Noel again today because I wanted to try something else on the menu and also because I wanted potato salad. The menu was the same as yesterday. I ordered the chicken omelet with rice and chicken nuggets for 800 yen.

Something I forgot to mention in my blog yesterday: as good as Noel’s is for its buffet style, it is not only the halls that have great customer service. The chefs in the kitchen are also great.
Over the famnet! Recommended for calorie-conscious men in their 40s and shape-conscious women. Noel's Marlin Tuna Lunch at Tokyo Business Hotel
As was the case yesterday, when a customer comes in, the chef in the kitchen also greets them with a “Welcome. When they leave, they also say, “Thank you very much.
It is a matter of course, but I think it is rare in Japan these days that even the people in the kitchen say it. At least, I think only about 10% of the restaurants I have written about in this blog so far are able to do so.
- The lunch menu in front of the restaurant is not on the ticket machine. You don’t have to eat it to know. Absolutely disgusting. Steak House Teppan Ranch Shinjuku
The chefs, as well as the ladies in the hall, are working in a friendly atmosphere, talking with each other from time to time. They may not be having fun, but they seem to be working politely and happily.
Perhaps because it is not in the middle of lunch and there is some room to spare, the women are moving quite briskly, checking tables frequently and lowering plates.
Today, too, we are serving at the salad bar. The variety of salads has not changed since yesterday. I still don’t know if they change weekly or if they are always the same.
The omelette came about the same time as the salad was served and brought to my seat. It took about 6 minutes and 27 seconds. That’s faster than yesterday. It looks like an ordinary omelette. But I could tell it was carefully made.
Wow, the egg is so tender.
Try it with ketchup rice. Delicious! This is really delicious. It is by far better than the omelet rice at those Western-style restaurants.
I also try the other main dish, chicken nuggets. This is also delicious! The outside is crispy and the inside is tight. The chicken nuggets from McDonald’s are incomparably tasty. Is this a real chicken nugget?
They were so delicious that I finished them quickly. Just like yesterday, I get another salad. Macaroni, potato salad, and marronnies. As expected, I decided to curb it next time.
I didn’t bring the discount card I got yesterday because I thought it was too cosy and 700 yen with the discount would be bad. However, I was asked if I had the discount card when I paid the bill, and I told them that I had not brought it, so I got a 100 yen discount.
This is the first time I have ever felt guilty about being discounted. Except for a few stores, that’s how few stores around here have good customer service.
Noel’s lunch was again delicious. If yesterday’s swordfish tuna and today’s omelette rice are this good, I have high expectations for the rest of the menu. Let’s go back again.
