I was surprised to find such an authentic Indian curry at Coco’s in Shinjuku. The B set of a large naan, small rice and two curries for 990 yen. You can get one more piece of naan for free, but one piece is enough for those who are concerned about calories.

The restaurant is comfortable and Indian in a good way. Furthermore, the Indian waitress was very polite and heartwarming. He may have noticed that it was my first visit to the restaurant by the way I ordered, but after a little while after serving the food, he asked me if the spiciness was okay. When I had eaten half of the naan, he asked me if I would like another serving.
I have been to many restaurants in Shinjuku 1, 3, 5, and 6-chome, but I have never had such a polite waiter. While Japanese waitstaff are sloppy, the foreigners are more attentive than the Japanese. I am impressed by the wonderful Indian waitstaff and at the same time understand that this is why Japan’s GDP is going down.
